Sliding gate automation
Sliding gates are a good way of maximizing available space in the driveway. Swing gates require a clear space through the arc of their movement. Sliding gates require space to one or both side of the gate for the gate to open back into. The automation pinion would normally operate on a rack mounted on the gates to provide the lateral movement. Sliding gates can either be run on a rail or can be cantilevered to fly out over uneven ground.
