Hydraulic or electromechanical?
There are hydraulic and electromechanical variants of both underground and ram type automation. Hydraulic systems tend to be a higher specification in that they would provide a more reliable system for either particularly large gates or gates that are in frequent use. It is important to match the specification of the automation system to the size of the gate and consider the number of times it will be expected to operate the gate.
